... is the new CEL campaign to help people involved in Churches in Transition Towns to help each other. We also plan to work in conjuction with A Rocha and EcoCongregation

Transition Towns was the theme for the CEL Day Conference in Ottery St Mary in November 2009 and for the Weekend Conference in 12-14 February 2010 - Report coming shortly on the latter.
Transition Towns involve the whole community (or aim to) - of which the local churches are just one part. CEL resources can be used in Transition Town Activities.

We encourage everyone to read Rob Hopkins book The Transition Town Handbook. ISBN 978-1-900322-18-8. Even better ask your local library for it.
