Please join our meditative prayer meeting at the beautiful church of St. Mary-le-Bow at 11.30 am on Saturday December 3rd. We will be praying for the United Nations climate conference in Durban which is happening around that weekend.
Revd. Steve Paynter,
member of the Operation Noah board, will lead the service.
If you would like to practice the Taize songs please meet us at 11 am in the church.
There are toilets in the church and cafes near-by.
At 12 noon we will leave to join the Climate Justice March.
The timetable for the weekend climate events is as follows:
Friday 2nd-Saturday 3rd -
11.30pm to 1.00 am,
Climate Refugee Vigil on the Thames foreshore near the north side of the Millennium Bridge. This is not organised by organised by CEL or www.campaigncc.org but more details will be put on the latter's website.

11-30 am Christian Ecology Link Prayer Meeting
12 noon – depart for Climate Justice March www.campaigncc.org . The march will leave around 1.00 pm. March in support of the tens of thousands mobilising in South Africa to demand climate justice at the Durban Climate Talks.
2.30 - 3.00 pm Climate Justice Rally outside Parliament. Demonstrators will split into two groups to represent the 7% versus the 50% (see below) and demand urgent action to achieve a Zero Carbon Britain by 2030.
3.30 pm End of Rally
(5 pm Possible prayers for the climate at Evensong at St. Paul’s. To be confirmed.)
