Hope for the Planet

Over 240 people from around the country attended the "Hope for the Planet" Conference for church leaders organised by A Rocha in London on 24th November

The audience at St. Michael's, Chester Square, London was full to capacity, and heard talks from
a number of high-profile speakers including Prof Alistair McGrath, Sir John Houghton and Dr Elaine Storkey. CEL was represented as an exhibitor, and through a workshop on climate change and Operation Noah, the churches' climate change campaign.

Philip Webb, who writes CEL's prayer diary, went with his vicar, said
"It was tremendous - this is the first thing that I know that was aimed at leaders of the church. The organisation fo the coffee breaks and lunch breaks was superb for that number of people."
