Nature Conservation in the Churchyard at Studley Parish Church

Actions carried out at the Church for which the
Christian Ecology Link
Millennium Challenge Certificate
was presented on 3 December:

  1. Wildlife conservation areas in the churchyard have been managed in consultation with the Warks Wildlife Trust


  2. Church funds have been transferred to an ethical bank account
  3. Water butt



  4. A water butt has been installed in the churchyard


  5. energy efficient light bulbs

  6. Low energy light bulbs have been fitted in the church

  7. Fairtrade coffee is used at most church functions

  8. Traidcraft goods are promoted after service once a month

  9. There is a box for recycling waste paper in the vestry

  10. The church Brownie Pack visited the local allotments in June

  11. CEL is promoted in the church magazine and on notice boards

  12. The vicar and curate use bicycles
